Outdoor Retailer Announces First “Project OR” for Winter Market 2008

Project OR will make its debut at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2009. The outdoor fashion event was a success at the Summer Market 2008. The student design competition highlights the supply story behind OR.

The event features five hand-picked design students from some of the top design programs across the country to design and create a garment prototype that is an original, innovative use of performance and eco-friendly materials, and has a practical application for the winter outdoor market.



Online Registration for 2009 Outdoor Retailer & Backcountry Base Camp Now Open

Online registration for 2009 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market Expo and Backcountry Base Camp is now open. Retailers planning to attend the event can visit the official registration page and sign up for the upcoming show, scheduled for Jan. 21-25, 2009 in Down town Salt Lake City and Snowbasin.

Buyers who register before December 19, 2008 will receive free show credentials in the mail and expo information prior to the show.

Ritchey-Sponsored Cyclists Place First and Second in World Road Championships

Ritchey Design components shined during the World Road Championships held in Varese, Italy when Ritchey-sponsored riders Alessandro Ballan and Damiano Cunego, both of Italy, took first and second place in the elite men’s category.

Nicole Cooke, recent Olympic gold medalist of Great Britain and also a Ritchey-sponsored rider, took first place in the women’s elite category.
