Interbike Adds Consumer Days to OutDoor Demo East

Interbike’s OutDoor Demo East, traditionally a trade-only event, recently announced that it will now include consumer days on Saturday Oct. 10 and Sunday Oct. 11, 2009 at Roger Williams Park in Providence, R.I. The first two days of OutDoor Demo East, Thursday Oct.8 and Friday Oct. 9 will be trade-only days.

Consumers are invited to come and check out the latest and greatest cycling gear the industry has to offer.



Ritchey Design-Sponsored Team OUCH Finishes Strong in Mexico

In the recent La Vuelta de Mexico race, several riders from Team OUCH Presented by MAXXIS, sponsored by Ritchey Design, had two Stage wins and won the Overall Sprint Competition title in Mexico City, March 1-8, 2009. Andrew Pinfold won Stage 8, making Team OUCH the first team to cross the finish line, while Cameron Evans won Stage 6 and Karl Menzies earned the Overall Sprint Competition title.



Ritchey-Sponsored Cyclists Place First and Second in World Road Championships

Ritchey Design components shined during the World Road Championships held in Varese, Italy when Ritchey-sponsored riders Alessandro Ballan and Damiano Cunego, both of Italy, took first and second place in the elite men’s category.

Nicole Cooke, recent Olympic gold medalist of Great Britain and also a Ritchey-sponsored rider, took first place in the women’s elite category.

Delta 7 Sports Launches Next Generation Arantix Mountain Bike

Delta 7 Sports announces its next generation Arantix mountain bike and will showcase the new model at the 2008 OutDoor Demo and Interbike show in Las Vegas. The new frame is stronger and better than previous models and the price point has dropped to be more competitive with other high-end mountain bikes on the market.

SCOTT USA and Ritchey Design today announced their co-sponsorship of the Elite men’s and women’s races at CrossVegas this month.
